The Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) wishes to inform the general public, development partners and all stakeholders of the appointment of Mr Michael Simon Kaiyatsa as CHRR’s new Programmes Manager effective 14th March, 2019. Mr Kaiyatsa replaces Mr Patson Gondwe who left CHRR in February, 2019.
Mr. Kaiyatsa brings a wealth of experience to the position having previously worked in management and in areas of research, communication, advocacy and capacity building for many years. Until his appointment, Mr. Kaiyatsa was CHRR’s Senior Programmes Coordinator heading the Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Department.
As CHRR builds on its 24 years of experience, Mr. Kaiyatsa’s extensive experience will enable him to lead the programmes team not only in reaching its full potential but also in improving its programming and responsiveness to the needs of communities we serve.
CHRR cordially congratulates Mr Kaiyatsa for the newly assumed position and greatly appreciates the support, guidance, commitment and whole-hearted energy he keeps investing in the growth and sustainability of the organization. CHRR wishes him well in his new role and promises to give him all the support he needs to succeed.
