karonga oneThe Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) has handed over suggestion boxes to rural health centres in Karonga and Dowa districts, where the organization is implementing its health governance project.

The project, which is being implemented with funding from Oxfam, seeks to ensure that community members, especially women, people with disabilities, youth and people living with HIV and AIDS, are progressively enjoying the right to health through demanding equitable access to health services from duty bearers.

Receiving the donation in Karonga, Chairperson for Lupembe Health Advisory Committee, Dick Sichale, thanked CHRR for the donation, saying the suggestion boxes will help improve the delivery of services at the health centre.

On his part, CHRR District Coordinator for Karonga, Grecien Mbewe, urged communities to use the suggestion boxes to express their suggestions or concerns for improvements of services rendered by the health centre.
