Health Governors Project Building Community Capacity on Health Issues

Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) in partnership with Oxfam through CHRR’s active advocacy has been implementing health governance project in Karonga District in order to build capacity of community to understand that their health rights and action would bring effective change in health service delivery in the district. Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) has been raising awareness campaign, trainings and meetings that aimed at imparting community citizens with knowledge regarding to their health rights, entitlements and responsibilities.

CHRR has also conducted awareness campaign’s following the ministry of Health preventive measure on Covid 19, which does not allow many people converge. The awareness reached the Village headman Mwahimba Mwakifwamba 2 in Karonga District approximately the activity reached out 129 people of all the age group.
